About Us

The Green Almond was first opened in the historical village of Almondbury on the outskirts of Huddersfield in 2010 by Louise.

Initially the shop was dedicated to providing customers with beautiful pre-loved clothing with a selection of new items and accessories and enjoyed many years of success.

In 2020, as with many businesses, the Global pandemic brought change to The Green Almond as customers started to shop differently in relation to the circumstances we all found ourselves in. 

The products asked for and bought changed and in early 2021 Louise took the decision to change the business fully into a boutique. The shop is now stocking and selling brand new fashion clothing, shoes and accessories – great style at great prices.

The shop was and still is very much a family affair. Louise is joined by her mum Susan, her sister Julie, and more recently, her sister in law Joanne. As a team, they remain as committed as ever to providing all of their customers – instore or online – the best shopping experience possible.
